With a sound and image all his own, his blend of mainstream hard rock and progressive guitar instrumental music have captured the ears of many who would have never given instrumental music a listen. Angel also serves as the lead guitarist for Black Market Hero which features members of FLAW and 40 Below Summer.

Michelle Vecchione: 9:30pm Friday, June 27th

Carving out her own interpretation of the Blues, Michelle Vecchione grinds us through her life experiences with a confluence of artful writing, deliciously dark vocals, and an exceptional mastery of lyricism. Combining Americana, Blues and Acoustic Roots-Rock with powerful vocals, she has successfully fashioned a style that is reminiscent of the understated vocal passion of Peggy Lee and wrapped it in the fire and fury of Janis Joplin.

What is Artifications???

Artification’s mandate is to bring culture to Hoboken residents in the form of music, quality art, theatre, dance and performance art. In this wonderful city, there is a stunning shortage of art. Artification works with the Monroe center to bring visibility to Hoboken artists while also inviting quality artists to display their art in Hoboken.

American cities undergoing gentrification unknowingly marginalize artists. Through steep rents and a stifling lack of gallery space, artists are forced to look elsewhere for reasonable work and display spaces. In Hoboken, a city that embodies gentrification, Artification is working to reverse that trend, and bring art back to the Mile Square City.

We need your help to do this.
